Capraia Smart Island is a circular economy project, based on the participation of the local population, that is transforming the island of Capraia into a permanent laboratory of good practices aimed at strengthening the sustainability of the production chains, protecting the island’s biodiversity, preventing and eliminating pollution from the sea, making the blue economy sustainable and protecting the island’snatural resources.
Marinduque Creative Island Innovation is a component of the
transformational core value of Marinduque State College. It
has an interface with the creative sector, non-governmental
organization and line agency involving agriculture and
aquaculture.
This project primarily sets a goal to provide farmers selective and high-quality seeds as well as cheap and accessible to support sustainable mass production which can eventually gain decent profit for a good blue economy practice.
